-The name Jesonda is a combination of the names JESus and ylONDA

 

-Jesonda Productions was birthed in the year 2000 and was based in New Haven, CT

 

-The company specializes in spiritual and inspirational theater productions, performing arts workshops that include acting, mime, production management and playwriting.

​

-Jesonda Productions first project was Jesonda's Talent Showcase. It was held in 2001 at the Lincoln Theater in New Haven, CT. The purpose of the showcase was to present and introduce local performing artists and help them gain exposure to the community and industry professionals. Industry Professional guests included representatives from Bad Boy Entertainment, Verity Records, Yale Repertory Theater, Long Wharf Theater, a host of casting directors, producers and directors.

-Jesonda School of Performing arts was birthed through Jesonda Productions. The school specialized in mime, acting and praise dance for ages 4-17. The duration of the Jesonda School of Performing Arts was from 2006-2008 and had two locations. The first location was in Bridgeport, CT and the second location was in New Haven, CT. The school was production based.

-From 2006 to 2009 Jesonda Productions hosted a radio show on 1530 WDJZ in Bridgeport, CT.

​

-In 2010, Jesonda Productions debut it's first stageplay entitled "STUCK" on Saturday, October 23. This anointed play debuted with standing room only and was produced 5 times in CT.

​

-In 2015, Jesonda Production relocated and is currently based in Charlotte, NC.

​

-Jesonda Productions will soon produce screenplays, motion pictures, tv sitcoms and dramas.
